A very special thanks
                                        from Claire Cameron,
                           Resident Director/Artistic Director
to all the wonderful people who stood behind us in this adventure in building the first Jewish theatre on the Central CA. coast. -
to one great man who gave us a venue & helped us with many problems,
to our Advisor, our audiences, the various media folks, the theatre community,
to teachers of drama, to directors, lighting consultants and their staff,
our great technical staff who put up with all my creative insanity -
to our great construction guys, to theatre folks who aided us in our 11th hour,
to our charter members and the people who came forward with helpful comments,
to those who wrote to us and made us feel ever hopeful for a wonderful adventure as we move forward - and especially to our family of actors
who give more than 150% of themselves -
Thank you for your amazing support!
Claire Cameron,  Resident Director/Artistic Director

In tribute and honor to a creative spirit, an amazingly supportive woman of our new Jewish Theatre, & of the Santa Cruz Arts,
we re-named the original Santa Cruz Jewish Theatre.
Liiana passed from our world at 55, the night before the opening of our first show.
A great friend & invaluable force in pushing us all forward.
Our theatre stands because of her incredible strength
& love of the Arts.
In her honor, and her unforgettable memory, we are now:
                 THE LILIANA MORARU
         SANTA CRUZ JEWISH THEATRE
We are a member theatre of the ASSOCIATION FOR JEWISH THEATRE and  the American Association of Community Theatre.
*Material from new playwrights is always welcome.
Keep it coming.  Together, we can build!
Updates to our website will be added as they happen. There's much more to come!
