And - August. 2012, Community Television of Santa Cruz County - It was fun being filmed by you, and we appreciate the opportunity !

Take a look at the first COMMENT we received after our July/August show.
You can find it in our 'TESTIMONIALS' page!
"You have more than exceeded our expectations this 2012 season.  Driving Miss Daisy was brilliant.  The Diary of Anne Frank left us breathless.  Wonderful acting, great direction, set, light and sound effects. The Liliana Moraru Santa Cruz Jewish Theatre has left an amazing footprint among the theaters that fill our community.
Thank you for the quality we did not expect in a venue with such limitations.  It takes more than magic.  It takes artistry and hard work."  (from a devoted fan)
This comment completely blew us away!  Thank you, whoever you are !!!
(Notes come in to us all the time .. this is so gratifying.)
We have managed to do - 'the incredible'.  We have brought a community Jewish Theatre, standing on its own merits, to the central California coast for the very first time.
Is this not an historical event?!

In tribute and honor to a creative spirit, an amazingly supportive woman of our new Jewish Theatre, & of the Santa Cruz Arts,
we re-named the original Santa Cruz Jewish Theatre.
Liiana passed from our world at 55, the night before the opening of our first show.
A great friend & invaluable force in pushing us all forward.
Our theatre stands because of her incredible strength
& love of the Arts.
In her honor, and her unforgettable memory, we are now:
                 THE LILIANA MORARU
         SANTA CRUZ JEWISH THEATRE
We are a member theatre of the ASSOCIATION FOR JEWISH THEATRE and  the American Association of Community Theatre.
*Material from new playwrights is always welcome.
Keep it coming.  Together, we can build!
